Non-Profits I Support

Read about the amazing work these organizations do to help further advance the education of kids and teens across varies fields, both domestically and internationally.

Kinspire

Over 30 million children in India are orphaned or come from broken homes and families, and are therefore unable to pay for education (International Learning Movement, https://www.ilmuk.org/news/the-state-of-india-s-orphaned-children-crisis/, 09/2021).

Moreover, many government-funded schools in India do not provide well-rounded, high quality curricula to supply these students with the skills necessary to pursue their desired careers, ultimately inspiring us, Kinspire, to make a change. Kinspire is a Seattle based non-profit organization that aims to empower children in Childcare Institutions across India by extending technology, resources, and mentorship to help them actualize their career aspirations. If you are passionate about education and would like to contribute to our cause, please visit our website to learn more about Kinspire’s volunteering and donation opportunities.

Rising Reels

Est. in 2020 Rising Reels was created. Rising Reels is providing high-quality and affordable filmmaking instruction to low income and BIPOC youth from underserved communities. Rising-Reels teaches filmmaking with courses geared towards providing a healthy outlet for the youth in these underserved communities. Rising Reels is comprised of a coalition of artist-instructors, and film professionals based in Seattle neighborhoods. We have working ties to the film community and public schools. Rising-Reels is a 501c3 non-profit organization created by the owner Trina Griffin of Trina Studios Inc.

"Last year we celebrated our first group of students who graduated. It is an honor to have such a positive impact on the youth's life in the community and we continue to work with them and expose them to the creative world of filmmaking and will continue to do so with each child we are able to serve."                                                               Trina Griffin (Owner)
